The Point of Never
Let your fear, let your anger take over, Let your heart begin to whither, Let your eyes begin to dull, Let go of life, do not fear never (the point of never), Let your spirit diminish, let your memories loose! (give them away) ‘Cuz this is the time when we ourselves fade to grey. CHORUS: Am I living in somebody else’s dream? Have I reached the point of never? The point at which I find the twisted memories, The piece of hearts, The soulless eyes, The lies within every truth, The point where forever ends, The point when your fear, when your anger takes over. Have I reached the point of never? Let the light from your eyes begin to fade, When you begin to die there’s no escape, Not when your destiny had been written, Not when it has been written in stone. I will not come back, not at all, no not ever, When finally I reach the point of never. Today is the day I’ve been waiting for. It’s my funeral, my body is gone. As my soul dies, the past begins to fade, And although nobody ever tries, I’ll call upon the raven, in him I’ll confide. And then I’ll ask his why the wisdom has lied.
