Sand By the Sea
As I walk along the beach I feel the sand beneath my feet I listen to a shell which sounds exactly like the sea Water sprinkles on my skin The memories replay again I close my eyes and breathe in deep To relive a memory way back then I draw pictures in the sand It's damp and cool upon my hand I feel as though I'm traveling some far off distant land Tiny creatures crawl by fast In each a different kind of past Each has a different type of world than the next or last The fresh breeze blows through my hair It smells like Spring throughout the air Though my footsteps wash away I'll always know my way back there Crystal water kisses the shore I take some time to look once more I take a picture in my mind for which I will adore
