On My Way To Grandma's
I baked some yummy cookies and wrapped them up real nice I was on my way to grandma's, when I ran into some mice They looked a little hungry and they looked a little sad So I gave them all the cookies that I had inside my bag I promised grandma cookies, and went home to bake some more But on my way to grandma's house I ran into a bore She asked me where I was going and if she could come along Then I looked down at my cookies and realized that they were gone I promised grandma cookies and went home again to bake But when I got back to my house, there were no more left to make I promised grandma cookies and didn't know what else to do So I made some chocolate brownies with nuts and cashews too I was on my way to grandmas when I ran into a goat He asked me what the yummy smell was that was coming from my coat I didn't want to tell him, but I didn't want to lie Then he asked me with the saddest face if he could have a bite I reached down in my pocket and pinched him off a piece And went on my way to grandma's, but it was getting hard to see I was on my way to grandma's and realized I'd lost my way I was getting tired and hungry, I hadn't eaten all day She must have gotten worried and come out to look for me she said that she had found me, beneath an old oak tree She took me to her house and tucked me into bed gentely held my hand and kissed my little head when I told her what had happend, she began to cry Then she told me that she loved me and sang me a lullaby
