Tired...
I'm just tired...tired of putting all my energy in a love that doesn't exist. My heart says "no," but my body can't resist. I'm just tired...tired of the same old excuses, And the broken promises it produces. I'm just tired...tired of wondering if you'll change your ways. This relationship has seen better days. I'm just tired...tired of the lack of affection. I can't help but wonder if you've moved on in another direction. I'm just tired...tired of spending my nights alone waiting by the phone. Can't you see you're hurting this organ beneath my breastbone? I'm just tired...tired of the cursing and fighting. You're not making second chances very inviting. I'm just tired...tired of you putting your friends before me. Why am I feeling like the enemy? I'm just tired...tired of telling myself things will work themselves out. When all along I had my doubts. I'm just tired...tired of being tired; And to think you were once someone I admired!?!
