He raised the dead, healed the sick, turned water into wine, Cured the blind and performed so many other things divine! But aside from all of that, He also had a very human side. When He learned His friend Lazarus died, 'tis said that he cried. When His disciples dispersed the children, He was very irritated, And his anger flared when He saw The Holy Temple desecrated! He was a common working man, a carpenter by trade, 'tis said. No doubt His hands were calloused as He earned His daily bread. After raising a little girl from death (another miraculous feat). With great common-sense He said, "Give her something to eat!" Like us, He needed quiet time and took an occasional retreat. In a show of humbleness, He even washed His apostles' feet! He shared what He had to see that the five-thousand were fed. He was a frugal man, gathering up the left-over fish and bread! Tho' certain of His peers thought He acted with impropriety, He was a tolerant man who associated with the dregs of society.
