What Could Have Been?
What could have been if we would have worked things out? What could have been if we would have known what we were really arguing about? How come our love had to come to an end? Now it seems like my heart's pain will never be able to mend. What could have been if I wouldn't have shut that door? What made you say that you don't love me anymore? Why does one of us always have to walk away hurt? What made you think you could rip my shirt. What could have been if you wouldn't have hit me? All the pain I feel, you will never be able to understand or see. If only you knew what you used to mean to me, if only you knew what our love could have blossomed out to be. But all that is gone now and our love is at it's end, but I will never again think about what could have been.*
