Twilight
The sun sets beyond her horizons Her view begins to blur The things in front of her, no longer clearly visible Yet not completely gone All her thoughts drift to the sky Where she can closely observe Sometimes very goom she can be Dark with saddened eyes Yet she can be so luminous, so full of life With a bright twinkle in her eye, far in the distance Tonight she may be completely lonesome Quiet, where only the sound of nature is heard Yet tomorrow is another night Where all might be just the opposite Her evening begins to set The air around her beings to cool And the brisk wind blows through her hair It is then she whispers to herself Now the world shall be at rest Watching the world from a different view She quietly awaits On the moon, the darkness, the night She is twilight
