Surviving Till
Time goes by ever so slow, Yearning and pain following me everywhere I go, In my chest dwells a big empty hole, Surviving till summer is my only goal, Everyday needing to build courage, Just to survive till the next day in this cage, I have no freedom here, And I won't unless I survive this year, Until once again I've reached my sanctuary, Where I'm always so happy and so merry, Where there's no such thing as sadness or stress, Only endless days and nights of happiness, Oh, the dances to which I went, The hours of running away from boys I spent, The rejoicing family reunions, Now I'd even accept my tacos with onions, All my memories so unreal they seem, Each day seeming more like a faint dream, These have been the happies days of my past, And shall be until relive again I get atlast, Surviving till summer is my only goal, Just to fill this big empty hole.
