Only emptiness is fulfilling as a taste of lonely bitterness, Drenched in the stench of despair. I implored to the Gods for some embrace, I attempted to vend my soul for some tranquility. My efforts were tireless and boundless, And yet I still amble in this darkness. After decades of torture and torment, My life in it’s suspension of hate, The Gods finally remedy my plea. And sent me a vessel of light that has shown me love. For all my days that lay within the shadows, Never have I seen such beauty and pure splendor. Luminescent as the brilliant sun, I caress the warmth and encounter embrace. My mind could not quite endorse a new, But my heart has opened immensely.
