Angel
I ventured far from heaven My feet gracing the earth Humans giving an immortal A mortal heart birth My wings cramped as I venture Invisible to all But as I continue my adventure I hear the royal call As I spread my wings to fly away I see you standing there With your bright blue eyes And your long white hair You skin is white and sickly But I see your beauty too As my eyes catch your smiling face I can't help but smile back at you My wing fold back As I hear the call again For now I've seen your beauty And here I must remain Wings only visible to immortals Begin to dissapear Before they are completely gone I feel an angel tear I wipe the tear off my cheek And say hello to you You accept my greeting and my love too Now a mortal With a beating heart For now I get a second chance To have a human start For love can only be found In a certain place called home And this planet is now The home I can call my own
