But I stood there firm and strong And said oak tree, oak tree please fall upon me. From the roots it shook I gave it a sturdy look, At Once I looked down at the roots, they no longer shook. I yelled oak tree, oak tree please do not temp me Send down a branch or two, with a heavy fall so I am not able to move at all. Oh What I would do to be fully sore. Oak tree, oh oak tree take me out of my misery In that the winds did blow And I lift my hands to the sky and a smile did show. The oak tree was about to give away Oh goody, that will sure make my day As it began to fall, I didn’t blink an eye Started to think about the new place I would reside. At that exact moment a man pulled me down In doing so I let off a frown He said my dear, my dear what where you doing. I said mister death is what I was pursuing Why oh why would your heart contain such a faith, to end you life with such heist Mister I tired to do it peaceful and with plenty of grace Earth yes earth is no place for me it withholds so much boundaries. He said just take it day by day, there’s many people earth who some times think this way. He took me away far away from that fallen oak tree, to place where I needed to be Around loved ones and family Who knew happiness could come so easily
