Hey Dad!
Hey Dad! Hey Dad! Is that you knocking at the door outside? I'm excited to let you know how great was my first horse ride. Mom was waiting for you on the couch — another quiet night. Is your job so hard? Well, I hope everything's alright. Good night Dad. Hey Dad! Today's my 7th birthday! My friends were looking for you — I didn't know what to say. I barely saw you home, Mom said you've still got work to do. Oh, it's almost midnight... Tomorrow, I hope I'll see you. I love you Dad. Hey Dad, it's my first day in junior high. I met a girl — she's cute, but you know I'm pretty shy. Dad, I have a lot of things I'd like to say. I hope you'll find some time for Mom and me someday. I miss you, Dad. Hey Dad, I'm in college — if you care, I'm doing alright. You never come home early, I just see you late at night. I wanted you to know that I got into a fight. Some guy just jumped me, so... well, never mind. Alright? Hey Dad, I'm a father now — I've never felt more blessed. I love my kid, but work has got me feeling stressed. I barely see my child, though I provide with all my might, But being a provider means I'm gone most every night. Dad... I get it now. I'm sorry Dad. I never saw how hard it was for you. I'm sorry that I never guessed the pain you struggled through. Each time I got upset, I wish I only knew... The man I am today — you never got to see him through. I hope you're resting now Dad... I always loved you.
