It's Like ,,,
SEPTEMBER 2022 It's like speaking in a foreign language With your mother tongue's sentence structure The words all mixed up A messed up meaning With a messed up order. It's like translating every word into English From whatever on Earth your mind is saying Everything nonsensical Yet making perfect sense to your own eyes. Or ears. Still, with a messed up order. I followed that order perfectly well... As I usually do. It's like forgetting the difference context makes, So context doesnt matter anymore. It's like forgetting the point of existence, but you didnt forget, because there never really was a point. After all, a point is only theoretical a theory, a lie, an annoying persistence. It's like forgetting to put the orders of yours into a word sensical. Det er ligesom forgetting to translate your words into Engelsk It is like forgetting how to see in true colour. It's like forgetting how to close your eyes It's like forgetting how to shut your mouth, It's like forgetting how to stop writing I buried the old poem in the sand And finished this for you, my darling, 'Hank Marvin' You don't have to understand. My mind is scrambled My eyes are sick Although bleeding a bit from how I tested my own wit. I bite down now, something drips from one eye Nobody cares, and neither do I After all: They deserved better And I always felt I was watching the world spin about without me in it.
