Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Dark demons tore her from within Pulling her downward into spiraling depression Shadows of memories long ago That crumbled her to cracked pieces Everyone was talking about her Or so it seemed She avoided greetings and conversations With anyone outside This deep abyss shoved her further down With whom could she be 'she'? Would nobody understand her? Irritated outside, showing emotional outbursts, There were times when she would cry Without any reason Her tears would not stop Not at her wish She felt completely out of command Her swinging moods made her desperate No meds could help her then To sleep To that sweet time of blissful forgetfulness She wrestled with unseen forces Creeping in her mind Weeping in her mind Doubts doubled with despair But people around her cared Prayed for her Loved her during the darkest times And she held on to life If only to please her family and friends If only because she knew suicide was wrong That life was God's gift... His breath was within her How could she snuff it out? And so she held on to hope And faith And God His Word reassured her Of His everlasting love His people helped her realise His love for her Once, hungry for a hundred things Now she understood that she needed Just One The One who died for her The Only One who could set her free And so she cried to Him In her blackest hour He pulled her out of the abysmal pit And she lives still To tell of her trials Holding on to that rope of hope In eternal salvation When she'll rise above the clouds To be with her Creator When she'll be completely free From the fetters of her mind...
