A Whisper of Life
Within a sacred vessel, a miracle starts, A tiny spark of life, beating tiny hearts. No bigger than a poppy seed, a speck in the blue, Yet programmed with potential, to dream and to do. The walls, once bare, now cushioned and warm, A nurturing haven, safe from the storm. The yolk sac, a lifeline, provides early food, As fingers and toes sprout, misunderstood. A symphony of cells, in perfect accord, Building a masterpiece, silently adored. Blood begins to flow, a crimson tide, Nourishing the growing form, deep inside. Muscles and bones, in intricate dance, Taking their shape, given a precious chance. Limbs that will flail, and eyes that will see, A mind that will wonder, eternally. The placenta extends, a lifeline so strong, Mother and child, a bond where they belong. Waste whisked away, nutrients brought near, A silent exchange, a love held so dear. Weeks turn to months, a transformation grand, The tiny form growing, a masterpiece planned. Hiccups that flutter, a practice for cries, Dreaming of sunlight, and starlit skies. Lungs take a breath, a rehearsal for air, The world a whisper, a promise to share. Fingerprints etched, a unique design, A face starts to form, truly divine. The womb, once a haven, now feels a bit tight, Ready to greet the world, bathed in morning light. A journey of wonder, a mystery so bold, From a whisper of life, to a human of gold.
