EMBODYING THE LIGHT
Embodying truth’s light --- such is soul’s quest My prayer as I strive to fulfill role Radiating kindness-flame, staying blest Doing what’s right with serene loving goal. Thus, the Source of light I beseech indeed Almighty God Who does make vision clear Since blindness and blurriness surely need Healing sublime, assuring “Never fear.” Embodying truth’s light with hopeful glow My heart thanks the Lord for guidance divine To overcome failures that bring much woe While meditating on triumph’s design. Joyous am I, embodying truth’s light Ready to face challenges along grace Since God grants blessings with peaceful delight Toward victory in running life’s race. Daily embodying truth’s light* midst pain My faith increases, smiting lurking doubt Confessing selfish strain for kindness-gain Sharing utmost best, gladly reaching-out. *1 John 1:5 ... God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
