Do You Love Me Or Not?
I don’t get gifts. I don’t get flowers. You leave me hanging, sometimes for hours. And there are days when you don’t call. Makes me wonder if you even care at all. So, I’ve gotta know… Do you love me… or not? I might be foolish but not naïve. I know romantic comedies can’t be believed. Still, two hearts meet and strike a chord. I don’t think that’s something that should be ignored. So, I’ve gotta know… Do you love me… or not? I don’t put faith in vain romance. I don’t expect it to make me want to get up and dance. And yet two lives can still collide. And I’m never one to just let fate decide. So, I’ve gotta know… Do you love me… or not? We make promises on a daily basis. And only keep them in the most extreme of cases. And I look into your eyes Hoping for a small surprise But I can’t quite decide if I see any traces… They say that’s how the game is played. We make our moves but we’re all afraid. We live in hope but there’s always doubt. And we take for granted that’s what love’s about. So, I’ve gotta know… Do you love me… or not?
