But I didn’t let go only for you to come back To me You came back When you left first you started it first. But when you came back, you didn’t think I was going to move on. You didn’t think I was able to love someone else. And to be honest, when you left me, I didn’t think I would ever be able to. You made me feel like I needed you, Like I couldn’t live without you. But when you came back, Things weren’t quite how you left them. And when I told you I moved on, That I was with the love of my life, You told me it was my fault. How I should have waited for you. How even though I found love when I wasn’t looking, That you believed you would never be able to truly love . And that made me hurt for you. But I can’t fix someone, especially someone who doesn’t want to be fixed. I tried to help you, I really did. You shouldn’t have to drown your feelings, Not the way you do.
