9 Times It's the wrong time of year, To be getting someone new. I need time to listen, To find out your God's honest truth. I need to know what you like, So I can buy the perfect gift for you. If we end up together, At least we gave it a shot, yeah. If we don't last until the end of forever, At least we got what we got. Wake me up with a kiss. I know one day you'll leave, But this moment in time, I'm not down on my knees. If there's hope left in you, Then there's hope left in me. If I can, I will be, all the things that you need. But if I'm not, Then can we give it a shot, yeah? If I'm gone, Can we try to hold on? You’re the first on my list, Of the only one I would kiss. You’re the last thing I see, When I put myself to sleep. You’re the on switch for the bliss, That you breathe into me. You’re my light in the dark And my easiest dream.
