Born in the heart of dawn, We fondly called him Digong, He carved his path, A legacy in shadows, and the blaze of fame. A father’s dream, a mother's fight, He saw the world through different eyes, With a lawman's heart, and a warrior's mind, Duterte rose, beneath darkened skies. He ruled, a city once torn, By battles of men, by hunger of night, But with iron hands and a justice sworn, He made our place safe, a beacon of light. Through fire and blood, he made his name, Fighting wars both n the street and the mind, The price of peace, a toll too high, The cost of change, o ften unkind. In the halls of power, he took his seat, Promised reforms, a country to steer, But his way was rough, with words like steel, with enemies far and near. A president once, the people’s voice, But in his wake, controversy lay, For some he was a hero, for others a ghost, A man who ruled with a heavy sway. And yet beneath the bravado, the storm, The man who once dreamed of a safer land, Lies a boy with visions reborn, A son, a father, with power in hand. A tale of a man who rose from' the roots, Whose legacy continues to spark and dispute.
