I pray You open my eyes to the light, to help me find freedom in my deepest fight. Each day I struggle, the old me persists, the weight of its pull—a force I resist. I seek Your strength to walk a new way, yet the shadows inside seem stronger each day. I pray to You, God, for my desires to fade, For the thoughts that linger, somehow they just want to stay. I wrestle with feelings so vivid, so real, denying emotions I struggle to heal. In waves of confusion, I'm tossed and turned, in a maze of longing, my heart yearns to be free. I know where I falter; I see where I fall, trying alone, but You hear my call. I cry for deliverance, longing to be free, Walls rise before me, yet on my knees I plead. I know what’s been spoken, the Scriptures say, Yet I pray for my heart to find Your way. How could You love me, in my emptiness in this hollow spaces, my shame, my fear? But softly You whisper softly, "Child, look back and see— I loved you even in your mother’s womb, eternally." The enemy tempts me to doubt my worth, to lose sight of heaven while bound to earth. But You remind me, Lord, how I've come so very far, though I stumble, still I rise towards my heavenly home. In my scars and wounds, healing takes time, yet Your love pursues me, deeply, divine. I’ll walk this journey, no matter the strain, for I know in time You will deliver me from this pain, and weakness, Your grace will sustain.
