Time And Halloween
Halloween is coming up. Halloween is just before- When Christmas comes around. When we put up decorations too early. Trees in the forest that are living and peaceful. They could be cut down at any time. And they are. Halloween is… Before my birthday and also past my birthday. It can be both. I could be almost 28. Or I could simply live as 27 forever. Christmas makes me, Sad for the presents that get torn open. Some are loved. Some aren’t. I turn 28 in February. December is gone. But the snow continues seemingly forever. Then it’s my sister’s birthday in March. In June, my dad will get older. Halloween is like a marker on a trail. But we move too fast to see it. The path that leads through Halloween. Is like a spirit. And we are lively. Halloween is coming up! I need to rush around for the party, And my costume needs a hat, or I’ll look horrible in the pictures. Then he died. I did wear a hat in that picture though. I think next Halloween… Will simply pass through me. The season will still live. But I am the ghost these days.
