In a World Where I Do Not Exist
I'm no longer there, but I see a world with lots of hyperbole and so little of transparency; There is so much verbalization and so less of substance. I'm no longer there, but where I now sit is not a place where I sit in judgment and condemn a world I once shared. I'm no longer there, but like a stroll, my life has already been revealed and unfolded. And by the good graces of my Lord, I have stood on the platform of life and played my role. I'm no longer there, but when I was in that world, I could not see as I do now. I sometimes long to be there, to participate in the debates. I'm no longer there, but I say to myself that were I there, I would make a huge difference, but I fail to appreciate the fact that I once was there and did impact the world. I'm no longer there, but from a distance, I see the chair in which I once sat and realize that no one can fill the space in that chair, and from it shine a light exactly the way I lit up my piece of the world, the manner in which I filled in the puzzle proposed for me, and the way I shared my common sense and perspective. I believe that The Lord is pleased that I sought to understand and live out the plan that He assigned to me.
