That last blow will hit us quicker than you think. Climate change is not real, the deniers cry. So they cover their ears and close tight their eyes. While we watch storm after storm, wave after wave. Send hundreds of poor souls to an early grave. Hate has run rampant like a train that won’t stop. Chaos and madness rules from bottom to top. Rich people hide behind iron gates to survive. Those that have nothing struggle to stay alive. Soon we’ll see and it should come as no surprise. Police and firemen will become privatized. When they show up to investigate a crime. They’ll hand you an invoice to pay for their time. Millions of people crawling on knees and hands. To find prosperity in some foreign land. We’ll spend billions of dollars traveling to mars. Or on satellites and guide self-driving cars. While homeless people have no place for their head. Each fighting for scraps to keep their families fed. The last ship out of here has already sailed. Believe me my friends, Democracy has failed. So collect up your guns and sharpen your knives. In this last battle we must fight for our lives.
