Oblivion
I do not recall being oblivious to someone who had to remind me who they were. Even If I had forgotten, I think that certain links or side issues would have always brought me back. If that did not work, I suspect that I might add, "I'm terribly sorrow that I do not remember, but I'd love to get to know you". I am reminded of one incident whereby I had been completely FORGOTTEN by a person I thought should have easily remembered me. Instead, I was OBLIVION, and no number of associations and events could put that person and myself together again. That, my friend, is not a good feeling. In many cases, it would not surprise me to be cast into OBLIVION, being the kind of person I am. I am not an outgoing super social kind of person. But in the above-mentioned case? No. I deserved better. I don't blame that person for FORGETTING me, and I laughed it off. Often living in the shadows is the story of my life, and I've liked it that way.
