Sometimes
Do you ever wish you could give life a break, Just disappear for a while without a big smile that's fake, Just sometimes it's just too much to take, Sometimes, sometimes I wonder the same thing, I don't want to feel the sting, Life gives you lemons, but nothing to make lemonade No sugar to sweeten the bitter retrograde, Just let me fade, It's just too dark to hide in the shade, The shadows are to dark, To withhold this facade, So much misery and dismay, Sometimes, Sometimes I wish I can make a decision, Just not to wonder if it's all a mistake, Sometimes, Oh just sometimes, I want to take life in stride, Have someone to confide, These demons that take control, These desires of letting unfold, Destroy, and coil, The sourness of the bitter end, To recoil, defend a world that never meant anything to me at all
