"Do we impose restrictions on painters as to what colors they may use, and how many brush strokes they may apply? " ~~The poet~~ Is there anyone out there that feels the way I do? I don’t want to be restricted by words too many or too few. I get annoyed when I have to remove an important word. Because it has too many syllables. How absurd! My poem becomes a skeleton of itself. With all the good phrases being left on the shelf. My poem was complete but experienced defeat. The number of lines totaled thirty-two. Only allowed thirty, what was I to do? Do I take two lines from the beginning, the middle or end? I’ve decided what to do, no more messing, I’ll take them from the end and keep them guessing.
