It's Only Love
1 Corinthians 13:13 KJV - And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. Promises were made by hearts never stolen, Promises of love, joy and devotion. Time felt like it stood still for souls swollen, Inflated by the wonders found in this emotion. While their lives were led by light and grace, Stardust dreams fell silent, buried in a grave. Doubts and disillusions, darkness would displace, All the gentle feelings deadly fear would enslave. Lost amid the chaos of desperation and despair, Affections were lost by loneliness and insecurities, While the lights were fading, they said a sanguine prayer… For all the exhausting wars, nature’s impurities. Wherever they’d been friends, there came doubt, Leaving hearts filled with suspicion and reservation. Not once did they imagine that their final blowout… Would take place in hearts, broken at their foundation. Promises were made, but promises were broken, Like they didn’t mean a thing – hearts were betrayed, By suspicions and questions about love that was spoken, But never given a chance because they were so afraid. Lessons can be learned by lovers who lost their passion. Never leave love alone to be doubted by fearful hearts. Listen to the One who rights all wrongs with His compassion. Remember to always give more love, just like real sweethearts! Never break a heart with words that should not be spoken, Hear the other’s voice and always believe in the bond… Because of this love you share, your hearts need not be broken, You’ll always share intimacy beyond belief if with love you’ll respond! In this love story between hearts who just believe, There is assurance that forever is the heart’s calling, For those who listen to the blessing of a love that will never leave, Love that is always alive, forever amazing, simply enthralling. Listen when the lights are shining on the everlasting hope, It is there that lovers should go before they agree to wed… It is there, amid the light and laughter, hearts learn to cope, With all the qualms of sharing their life, their love, their bed. Forever in the distance, charming the weary soul, Forever in the spirit, inviting the maze in amazing, Forever, claiming this love who will make you whole, Forever, stirring up the glory in a heart who is praising! Congratulating the hearts who make it through this world, Forever together, always giving and believing, Life on earth is more than just the hues of seas swirled, Lovers can see that blending hearts, love won’t ever be deceiving.
