Conjured You Up
I don't seek a white knight a life partner would be nice someone to curl up with and discuss the life situations that bring me strife Sprinkle that partner with humor give him a dash of debonair And don't forget a dose of silly not one who puts on airs. Give him his inner mojo a healthy dose of pride Make him well read and not vacant inside A handsome countenance is pleasant but a skilled one more replete After all its not show and tell its show and do and then rinse and repeat! To live with me he needs to have humor my foibles they are more than a few I promise to set a good table and to make him feel amused. He must appreciate art and if he is a creator himself so much the better And he must love kids and pets our life like a short from Art Linkletter. And now that I have laid it out, I know I conjured him up from my past. Because he arrived intact he's still the same and we have our time at last. 44 years was a long time apart. Though we had brushes of time together. So don't forget it's our time now. Let's get er done! Conjured you up.
