You
It began with “hello” I was mesmerized, the beat of thy drum cautioned me to see beyond the realm of introduction. For thy hello, followed with “what’s your favorite movie?” Sold me on the lost ship of your heart beats beat until the sailed moon drops. It’s there, that I’d seen a story of lovers, hand in hand they quake through the cracked opening of their mouths. Each tongue kiss signified a new dawn, a new day, a new light for he is the ship that sailed across the Nile. Seeking gold and fortune, but instead found Cleopatras sacred heart. You. The man I see when light struck my eyes day after day, you; cannot see what this is? An epilogue of love passed down for centuries, but you dare to ask me what my favorite movie is? I answer: “I’m a horror movie gal” Soo, quickly you gazed upon my temple, my moon, creating the waxing and waning of my heart beats beat along with each setting sun. You. Again? Breaking my tides but still reaching beneath the challengers deep end that is beginning anew. You, how you’ve caused me to stir now, You. Smile, perhaps it’s with a little fear, suspicion, for you know they’re cleopatra at night: full of love and curiosity. You, never wondered what my favorite hobby was? Being lost in the eyes of the man who’d one day be my keeper. Of course tho, it’s a new hobby of mine. Something that began at: hello :)
