Gleam of Gooddess
Written: July 1st 2023 ______________________________________________________________ She traced across the edges of her dreams, In the depths of night, where hope is redeemed, Whispering words that conjure wishes, Breathing life into dreams, she kisses Those souls she traveled with have aged, Their spirits were worn, their bodies frayed. But together they wove a tapestry, Of memories and dreams for all to foresee. Through the twists of time, they danced and twirled. Creating a world where dreams are unfurled Hand in hand, they walked the path. Leaving footprints of love and laughter aftermath. The edges of her dreams, once sharp and clear, Now melt into sweetness, drawing near. Such honey dripping from a golden spoon, She finds solace in the moon. Behind her inscrutable, wrinkled face, A young Lady Godiva starts to embrace The joy and wonder of days gone by Her smile returned, similar to a butterfly. She remembers the freedom of riding through town. Her long hair flowing, her nakedness renowned, A symbol of courage and defiance, A beacon of hope and self-reliance. But as the years passed, the world changed. And Lady Goddess story became estranged,
