The Random Stroll
A long walk ahead, with thoughts to unwind, I set out to brighten my day, My steps were light, my heart was kind, As I strolled along my way. I passed some dandelions, swaying in the breeze, Their yellow heads were so bright, And as I walked, I felt at ease, With nature's calming light. The path I took was winding, With twists and turns to spare, But as I walked, I found myself finding, New sights that I could share. I saw a family of ducks, Swimming in a nearby pond, Their quacks and splashes brought good luck, And made my heart respond. Then I saw a tree, with branches wide, Providing shade for all below, And as I rested by its side, I felt my worries go. The three-cornered walk I took that day, Was more than just a stroll, It helped me find a peaceful way, And heal my daily sway.
