Anchored In My Heart
In the heart of every place, there lies a gift, Strength to cope with all that life may lift. Nested deep within its spirit hold, A love that's tethered, never to unfold. For love is a gift from God above, A force that binds us with unbreakable love. It's the rattling essence of all that we are, The light that guides us, near or afar. In every corner of every land, There's a love that's waiting, a helping hand. A love that reaches out to heal and mend, A love that never comes to an end. It's the love that makes us who we are, The love that shines is akin to a guiding star. It's the love that brings us closer each day, The love that never fades away. So let us cherish the gift of love, And hold it close akin to a precious dove. For it's the one thing that will always remain, The gift that keeps us whole again and again. Written: June 10, 2023
