Love Letters Beneath the Moonlight - a Collaboration With Frederic Parker
My love for you is beyond prophecy or endowment and lay before you a love letter from the heart beneath the moonlight's glow where our eyes find a silent understanding that embraces each passionate emotion swirling and entwined in the depth of love where our souls surrender to ardent desire in an enchanted beguiling captivity of lush landscapes and serene gentleness in starlight as we imagine a wondrous bastion that offers a sanctuary of serenity filled with warmth that trembles the tender skin when we look deeper into the eyes and find honeyed dreams dressed in blooming blossoms of fragrant fantasy we become prisoners lost in soft braille moments with each kiss that invites our souls to wander through warm sensual sensations of sharing where life reveals its emotional tendrils that wrap around the space between and pulls us into a world of sublime bewilderment ah yes.. the dazzling gleam of love’s glow – once inscribed upon the skies… for was it not scribed before the time our hearts were born these beating drums — in the smattering of stars etched for eons too dim for naked eyes to scrutinize.. until fragments of sparkle implanted their verse within mortal marrow.. a sweetheart song golden till all tomorrow's cease to dawn and the heartstrings of our lyre cease to strum as my sonnet song is sung? indeed.. mere words hold no light in the depths of the universe away from the sun but harnessed in the hold of our heat the moon ignites the dark.. and by the light of night’s glow we read the stars in each other’s eyes before they close in passions’ sigh and our bodies surrender to ardent desire as the queenly moon embraced by the shameless shine of the sun weeps a cascade of moonbeams for the beauty and wonder of such earthly and heavenly love overflowing the streambeds of our bounding pulse till nothing’s left but a silvery quiver ‘pon the softened ripples… ah, to be made for such a palpable experience — the glory of our gratified physical skins the embodiment of our starry fate the bastion imagined.. now captured in the serenity of sensuous afterglow where we shine and twine a verdant vine to sip from nectar’s chalice a heady jasmine wine pink petals and Venus sentiments sweet the sugar on our tongues… the taste of love’s glow as I lay before you a love letter from the heart Frederic Parker and Susan Ashley (a collaboration) May 8, 2023 (originally posted on Frederic's page on May 6, 2023) ~ Poem Of The Day ~ Sunday, May 7, 2023 (celebrated on Frederic's page) Poet’s note: Frederic, dear friend, dear poet, it was an honor to receive your gracious invitation to share in the creation of this magical realm of romance. The inspiration of your exquisite verse lit the path for my pen to follow. Thank you, Frederic, for yet another artistic experience where passionate pens merge on the poetic page to dance a duet of ardent wonder and imagination.
