In my fear, my heart yearns for comfort midst fight-flight pursuit thus, I cast to the Lord all my cares since He assures me His presence as I cling to Him by faith. Midst my weariness, I whine… wanting relaxation’s pleasure I plead for the Almighty’s strength thanking Him for deliverance against impatience in dealing with special child that demands genuine love. When lust of the flesh drives me toward selfishness, pride and greed causing my downfall… as evidence of my carnal nature I seek to be in communion with Christ Who is ready to help, since He know my limitations. Attacked with envy when comparing myself with others my soul succumbs to jealousy, anger and malice letting me waver in my ministerial commitment… my soul beseeches the Saviour during divine meeting and He upholds me toward transformation-triumph. Still striving to combat negative attitudes midst consciousness refining I face them as reality-checks for my virtue-fortification, trusting the Holy Spirit for good works’ optimization. *Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
