We do not grieve his life or soul, We grieve his shortened time, If death had not taken its toll, He would have lived his prime, Yet, we accept God's will to darn his tapestry with death, With His purpose, He weaved his yarn till his very last breath, Our grief is intertwined with hope, Knitted with strong belief, Some day, we'll see him laugh, not mope, and that gives us relief.
