Seen the sun fall from the sky Time and time I've wondered why Storms gathering forming a mist Stepping from somewhere in time, I've lost that list. Turned away from all I adore Wounded heart still seeking some more Time stops before my eyes It's always there no matter the disguise Sun setting on another day While I was trying to find the right words to say Time went and left me behind It alright cause it gave me some peace of mind There away from what I thought was a must I learned something about self trust And it left yesterday in the dust Sitting here watching the world pass on by Does one even really want to try The road can only take you just so far from yourself Then you realize , love was greater than wealth Bended back and tear filled eyes Looking back you can see how time flies Now in the mirror the gray haired old man looking back at me Telling not only of the hard times I did see But of the good times as well Such a story that that reflection has to tell Love hope and desire Still burning from that inner fire Standing in front of the doorway leading into tomorrow Discarding any clinging sorrow I step through that door and I can already see, looking back, everything was meant to be All in all it really hasn't been that bad Even with nothing so much I still had
