Entrapped
The rocks and stones hit you hard, And cause many cuts and bruises Do you deserve this treatment When your friend's future wife abuses The love her lover gave to her And promised to stay true And now she has broken her word To elope with you. How do you feel Betraying your good and faithful friend Did you think This illicit affair would end Without causing any pain To anyone, least of all you Have you no shame You have betrayed a trust By showing lust for another man's future wife Causing anger, bitterness and strife How is this going to end For you, your new lover and old friend Your skin is bleeding profusely now. You wish the stones would stop. There's a pool of blood on the floor You feel faint and drop The fickle girl gets frightened And flees for her life That flirtatious little madam She does not want to be any man's wife. How quickly the situation changes When the truth comes out It changes everything, without a doubt, How foolishly we behave When we fall into a trap And shut our eyes To temptations That fall into our laps The two men look at each other With sorrow and dismay Both are a little wiser After this horrendous day
