The Color
Once there was a man who was fan of color pink So he wore his color on his way to the gym But on his way a crowd had come to mock him Wearing pink they said is a gayish thing They taunted the man who was walking so docile Like he committed the gravest of crimes They perpetually casted stones to defame Without even knowing his true name They followed the man on his way to his home They peeked at his window and peeped at his door Like everything he does was their own problem Without even knowing his true name Then broadly roamed a deafening news of defame Like dust particles casted through the wind Everyone came to think that the man was a freak Without even knowing his true name But the man turned a deaf to the narrow-minded He wore proudly his color to the gym once again One day when he passed by, such a crowd was in daze He was wearing a belt of champions in the ring Does wearing pink really mean being gay? What could be wrong with being gay anyway? If you laughed at a guy wearing pink for he's gay Would you laugh at a gay wearing black or gray? Does this world really is as narrow as some minds? Do people not have the freedom to decide? Does wearing your color really is a crime Like raising your voice to the things you desire? To those who judge like they're perfect persons Make sure you know well the one you are judging Time is precious to waste on such trivial reason Better yet use your time to solve your own problem Men should not be judged because of their color For color is nothing but superficial Use wisely your judgment and your prudent reason For nothing comes right from discrimination *The contents of this poem is just a symbolic representation of many kinds of oppression like harassment, slander, gang stalking, bullying, that many people in the world experience because of their beliefs, race, color, religion, gender, etc.* January 19, 2023
