A Ukraine Soldier and Russian Soldier Are Transformed
This story tells the reality of the Ukrainian, Russian war. Not all Russian Soldiers want to be there but are forced by their Russian Commanders to fight. This is such a story, the ending will leave you speechless. Alexander like many Russian Soldiers hide a deep secret. A secret that the Russian people in their communities and villages also feel. They are against the War in Ukraine. Many Russians are taking a stand and protesting Putin's evil orders of War. Alexander was different. He was apposed to the war but as a Soldier he had to follow orders or face a Court Martial. As he was taken to Ukraine he was dealing with his feelings inside which he did not share with his fellow soldiers. Mentally he was just going through the motions and was hoping that he would not have to engage in taking of a life. Alexander you see was a devout Christian and he Loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He would pray everyday of going home and avoiding hurting another. Alexander had a Radio he carried with him. He would listen to Sermons that had reached Russia from The U.S. He spoke broken English, and He understood the messages and sermons. His Radio gave him hope during his mission in Ukraine. As they got closer to the fighting Alexander was struggling with his emotions. He did not want to harm anyone but what would he do if he was fired upon. He struggled with his thoughts. Tormented and desperate for an answer, he turned to his radio. It would calm him down and give him hope. Isai was a Ukrainian Soldier fighting for his Country. He was angry at what the Russians had done to his Beautiful Country. He hated the Russians with a passion. Soon Isai would take action for his Country. As the war progressed The Ukrainian Soldiers ambushed Alexanders battalion. They attacked by night using night vision goggles. Alexander was caught by surprise while listening to his Radio and was shot dead by Isai. Isai walked up to the lifeless body and picked up the radio, as the Christian message was on loving your brother. He was perplexed because he respected the Christian people in his village and although he wasn't a believer he admired their kindness toward him as they helped him and other Ukrainian soldiers as they made their way through the Countryside. As he listened to the message he realized the Soldier he had shot was different. He picked up the Radio and asked God for Forgiveness. Isai kept the radio, and Alexander's death transformed him into a new Christian. Michael Tor
