Within an hour we realized that her words were not sassy or saucy. Her speech was not exciting or fun. Even her dance moves were predictable. She was rather bland, boring, banal. Didn’t she say she was an original? We asked each other. She had set herself up, but she had not lived up. We expected so much more.
