I approach a small opening of short bright green grass I couldn't help but notice that in between two ripened apple trees, was an old half-rotted love seat swing made from vines and thick branches Staring at it, watching it swing slowly with the wind... And with my mind and body in a motionless trance "I Wonder" I ask myself I wonder- who the last occupants were, who were the last to sit there together? Must be at least a hundred years old; I think Were they young teenagers in love? Were they newlyweds, or long-time lovers- unmarried? Maybe, they were old... like me Hmm... Maybe, just maybe...it was where Adam & Eve sat while biting the apple? While thinking these thoughts... the loves seat continued to swing more rapid Suddenly, The love seat stops swinging... but the mild wind still blows It was like an invitation for me to have a seat. With chills running from the back of my neck, through my spine, and down to my toes... I sit Closing my eyes gently. a chill-calming feeling warms my body and soul The answer to the question will forever be a mystery But now I know who the last two occupants were... It was me... and the Lord
