Summer Breeze
~ The sunrise makes me happy, shining on my face, and I don’t feel so lonely, in its warm embrace. I can hear her dancing, on the sandy beach, reaching out to touch me, in the cool summer breeze. Oh, I can’t see tomorrow, but I can see forever, but I don’t need forever, just another day. I can see her laughing, I can see her near me, summer breeze, oh summer breeze, keep blowing my way. The warm wind sings so softly its sweet summer song, the summer breeze calls to me, as I walk along, and I can hear her whispers blowing through the trees, calling me, oh calling me, in the soft summer breeze. (guitar solo) The summer sun fades softly to an evening sky, passing on its sunlight to a new sunrise, and I can hear her melody, ringing through the night, sing to me, oh sing to me, till the morning light. I can’t hear tomorrow, but I can hear forever, but I don’t want forever, just another day, I can hear her heartbeat, I can hear her near me, summer breeze, sweet summer breeze, keep blowing my way. Oh, I can feel her heartbeat, and I just want her near me now, summer breeze, please summer breeze, keep blowing my way. Host: Mark Toney Marathon Contest Mile 21 3-1-2019
