You Walk Away
As you walk away, I cannot help my laughter. I choose to stay, for you're not worth chasing after. Maybe you were, a long time ago. Now I'm sure, Now I know. Take me home, to where I belong. My soul will forever roam, answering death's song. While I love my hate, Yo miseria cantare. You're not so great, for you let my heart tear. Our fate's unknown, heart caught in the twisting of a vine. I'm so alone, noe that you're not mine. Can you see the rage, behind these eyes? Turn another page, it's all just lies. Together, we could have such omnipotence. Now I see forever, has left my presence. Steal these sorrowful times, you can put them to use. Take these rhymes, so I'll feel no abuse. When you blink, do you see the misery in this line? Do you think, our love was fine? I guess not, guess you didn't care. The misery hurts alot, who said life was fair? Without you, I'll disappear. We are through, so I'll shed a tear. Go ascend, the ivy climbing. This is the end, so perfect timing. I close my eyes, and disappear. I cannot help my cries, for you're still here. Oh God, just what have you become? I watch Death's nod, as I become so numb. This is your line, my last verse. You were mine, yet you're no longer my curse. How much longer, are we almost done? My heart isn't stronger, for you're not the one. Go ahead and take your leave, for I no longer believe.
