Fifth Seasons
There are places, things, and times experienced by us. Each of these experiences has a character of its own. Yes, there may be similarities, but each is distinct. The word for Winter is 'cold', but it also might get cold in both Spring and Fall. The word for Summer is 'Hot', but it can also be hot in the Spring and Fall season. Notwithstanding, there are seasons of our lives when we are overwhelmed with asking 'Why'?, 'How'?, 'How long'? These seasons of 'no man's land' seem to have uncharacteristic patterns and complicated puzzles without rhyme or reason. Perhaps one should not expect to navigate this life without at least one of these seasons. Some of us will experience a number of Fifth Seasons for reasons God only knows. These are the 'FIFTH SEASONS' of our lives. Seasons that may never give the answers that we so desperately desire or need. Seasons whose answers are delayed for purposes unknown at the time. Special seasons of a trial whose answers lie inside the doors of eternity. In the fifth season, the air is stale and dry; and the skies are filled with smoke; the water is hard and just barely drinkable. In the fifth season, our ears are filled with wax, and we cannot hear God when he is speaking. To us, it seems heaven's ears have closed and the angels have been given a Sabbatical for the season. In the fifth season, the rains are rare, and when it does rain, it ALWAYS pours. 103022PS
