Four Little Letters
Today we over use this word hate, it only has four little letters yet is a huge word. Years ago we hardly every heard the word, today it is used daily. Seems like everyone hates everything, this is what our world had turned into~a world of hate? Kids hate their classmates, before they get to know them. Some say they hate a celebrity, they do not know them~only what the news has said. How does one hate someone they do not know, that sounds crazy. Would you like to be hated, by someone you did not know? Should one judge a book or person by their cover, of course not. Yet many do it, but why? Some say they hate Brussels sprouts, I love Brussels sprouts. Cut and fried golden brown, add some crispy bacon, onions and spices. Hate comes in many sizes and shapes, what size and shape have you become? Hate can become an inner conflict, between body~mind~soul. I say to hate go far away, I do not want to play. I want peace and love, here to stay. Date Written: 8/16/2022 2 Place Inner conflict Contest Sponsored by: Unseeking Seeker
