Who I Am
This, This is who I am. A soldier at heart, a warrior Queen. A gentle But strong Soul just beneath. Bruised and bloodied Back from the war- But you’ll never see me dying on the floor. I survive, that’s what I do- And I’ll come back from these battles, I know it to be true. Much Patience and much time And I know I’ll be fine. Though my body is scarred My heart refuses to become hard For I will not give up You. Your word, I’ll remember, remains just as true. So, buzz my hair I do. Expose all my scars. Because that’s who I am. I am who You are. I am hated by the world. So we’re-so still ARE You. Though I’m an innocent, broken girl, I’m torn apart through and through. But my spirit will live on Nomatter if I die. You hear my plea My most fervent cry. For never will You sigh.
