And the one man that I should have been able to count on, Has failed me in every way from the very beginning. My father was always busy and never around. He drank way too much and was always in trouble. When I needed him the most, he just couldn’t be found. He was out at some bar, in his own little bubble. My mother was my saving grace; God rest her soul. She was the rock in my life when she was alive. Trust me, drinking and driving always takes its toll. My father killed my mother when I was five.
