Taking Karen's Blog To the Next Level
Dancing It is the body breaking space in shards It sounds like rain on glass It looks like light with fractured wings It feels kissing under the moon It makes me feel I am in paradise Undreaming space in time, time in space The heart beating like caged wings Glass shattering while hope sings inaudibly I catch the feathers of stars, and laugh Deliciously wrapped in their delight This poor Icarus dancing in the sun Knows clouds are brittle floors of dreams. Dance is the synthasia of the soul. Taking Karen's blog to the next level I find I am still a child Wanting to hold on to passing time Wanting to dance forever In my mothers arms In the comgfort of her womb Where there is no sun or moon But the peace of the waves Dancing on the shore of my heart.
