Sometimes the Swollen Heart Has To Cry -
I was stranded in the light Walking on on fertile grounds With each step that I've taken I find myself ostracized Casting off my imaginations I looked up into the skies And I see The shining beneath the second hand Falling through the skies onto the ground Clearly as I posture myself and think about my plight Those the tears that are not from angels fall They saturate my heart in my engrossment I approachment to the fathom I fall to the ground On my knees I crawl my head is heavy my heart still full I'm wondering, wondering what the Earth what is this all For my God has His eyes on me but yet is it really Him I believe it's me calling Him the creator of my sin Have I blasphemed that I ever mean to dishonor him I complain I can test I'm in a hell of a mess But this I am in a regime How to have my mind lifted up so high my spirits down My pride is up sometimes the swollen heart has to cry I was birth and born into this world through the birth canal I came people crying that extra should be for when I die You should be having a party dancing and singing when I die Sometimes my swollen heart has to cry So let me know why I have been ever love never loved Then the mistreated beat down been missed one Been cheated what is my worth I know my worth It's not a curse blessed are those who sometimes cry The swollen heart one day we'll die 6/26/22 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr © 2022
